About
Compliance paperwork, made plain for small organizations
Lisavel is made by Jelista Strategies Inc., a small software company in Ontario, Canada, founded by Paul Hendriks.
Why this exists
Every three years, tens of thousands of Ontario businesses and non-profits with 20 or more employees owe the province an accessibility compliance report. The form itself is short. The hard part is knowing, honestly, what applies to an organization of your size, whether you actually do those things, and what you should have written down before a named person certifies the answers.
Most of that knowledge sits in a long regulation and a handful of government pages. Lisavel turns it into plain questions, a report card graded by fixed rules, documents drafted for your organization, and a walkthrough of the form's own questions, with the regulation's section beside every item.
How it is built
- The rules are data, not opinion: each obligation in O. Reg. 191/11 is recorded with who it applies to, whether a written document is required, and its citation. A reviewer checked the mapping against twelve synthetic organizations before launch.
- Fixed rules decide what applies, which documents are required, and how each standard is graded. Documents are plain templates filled in from your answers; you read, edit and adopt them. No AI is used in this version.
- Nothing says
compliant
,certified
orguaranteed
. Your certifier answers the government's questions; we show what your evidence supports. - The site itself is built to WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard, focus, contrast, reduced motion, labelled forms. It would be odd otherwise.

What we don't do
We do not give legal advice, we do not certify or file reports, and we do not audit workplaces or websites. If you need a legal opinion on your obligations, a lawyer can give one; Lisavel will have made the facts easy to hand over.
